My homeroom Reading class is supposed to be reading at least 20 minutes EVERY night and writing it down on their Reading calendar (which is due October 1st). The more you read, the better reader you become. Mrs. Appleton reads every night too. Which book am I reading at this time? It's a new one I just got in on Friday called "China Ghosts" which is about a couple's journey to China to adopt their baby. It's GREAT!!!! Feel free to email me and tell me which book YOU are reading right now and what it is about. You can also click on "comment" right below this message, and leave a comment telling me what you are reading. Everyone will be able to read what you write! ENJOY your books!!!!

Hey Antoinette!
We don't have a picture of our baby because we haven't been matched with one yet. That's what we're waiting for the Chinese government to do. Trust me, once they do that, EVERYONE will see her picture because I will be sooooooooooooooooooooo excited to have a little baby girl!
I'm glad you guys enjoyed having lunch today and that you all worked hard on your Writing SOL Practice Test! Good job! Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you Monday!!!
Love,
Mrs. Appleton
